Stop Press~ Sean & Suzanne are relocating their careers & life to NYC in August 2010.

Sean is working on a feature film “A Heartbeat Away” Suzanne is working as score producer, piano coach to the stars and will feature as soprano soloist singing Ravel’s Pavanne.

Long anticipated Album “I’ve dreamed of you” is due out in the stores on April 16.  A  journey through the Celtic heartland, this recording features the Queensland Pops Orchestra & guest vocalist Suzanne Kompass.

Adam Lopez

The long awaited, over 1 year in the making, guiness book of world record holder, Adam Lopez is finally realeasing his album through ABC. Till the End of Time was produced by Sean O’Boyle, Adam Lopez and Geoff McGahan and features James Morrison on trumpet on several tracks. The CD will is available through the ABC Shop and should be on iTunes shortly.

Symphony of Lullabies – Favourites

Beautifully performed by the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, this compilation of 22 timeless lullabies is the ultimate soothing collection of gentle and sleep inducing tracks for babies.  Recorded by Geoff McGahan with me conducting & orchestrating – we love the sound!


Two world premiere recordings are presented in this new CD from Australian composer Sean O’Boyle. The pieces take listeners on a spiritual journey through the unique Australian landscape, expressing its forms and life in music. The Concerto for Didgeridoo was inspired by didgeridoo player William Barton, the soloist in this recording, who provided O’Boyle with the rhythms on which the piece is based. River Symphony symbolises the rivers of the world by telling the story of the Brisbane River and the eternal cycles of birth, death and renewal. Ranked #32 on ABC Classic FM – The Classic 100 Concertos . RiverSymphony was also prominent in the ABC Classic FM The Classic 100 Symphony and was ranked at #83.


Sean been writing & producing new music for MASKE and has toured to the Bahamas & USA with them in 2008. 

Music for the Ashes

Sean recently went to London and teamed up with tenor Sean Ruane & the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to produce the music for “The Ashes 2009″.  With new arrangements of “Jerusalem”, “Rose of England” & “You Raise me Up” and a new song “We are One” penned with Karen Jacobsen  & Paul Sarcich it should be a fabulous opening event in Cardiff.  You can hear some samples here.
